TECH@SSIST: VALEO’S ONLINE TECHNICAL SERVICE FOR PROFESSIONALS

Valeo’s Tech@ssist is an online assistance platform for automotive service and repair professionals, providing fast and easy access to technical information.

Nowadays, parts and products are always improving, always changing. And with such a wide variety of part references available on the market, it's not always easy for automotive repair and service professionals to find what they need.

That's why Valeo decided to interview 600 distributors and garages in 5 different countries: From the feedback we gathered, we were able to identify which online services would most help professionals in their daily work. The result was the creation of Tech@ssist. With Tech@ssist, professionals can save time and avoid mistakes when searching for technical information and installation instructions, all at no cost, and without registration.

 

A quick and intuitive search engine for easy identification of replacement parts

 

When doing repairs, time is always of the essence. Tech@ssist's replacement part database helps repair professionals spend less time on the computer. With Tech@ssist, a professional can easily find all the relevant details for over 45,000 product references, including 14 product lines for passenger cars and 11 product lines for commercial vehicles.

Users can search by product reference, vehicle type (brand, model or version), Vehicle Identification Number (VIN code) and even by plate number (France only).

 

Free access to Valeo’s comprehensive technical documentation library

 

For each product reference, Valeo offers fast, easy, no-cost and registration-free access to all associated technical documentation, including: fitting instructions, technical bulletins, safety data sheets, product photos, videos, and tutorials. The tech@ssist library gives professionals guaranteed access to more than 5,000 always up-to-date documents and assets, available 24/7 via smartphone, tablet or personal computer

 

What's more, Tech@ssist will continue to evolve with the needs of its users:

The database is permanently maintained by Valeo’s TechCare experts, who, based on their analysis of hotline calls, continuously create new technical content so that the most frequently asked questions find their answers.

 

An online training platform: hundreds of training modules are only a few clicks away

 

As the associated technologies continue to change and grow, automotive maintenance and repair become more complex. To stay up to date, professionals need ongoing training, but training takes time, which, when working, can be hard to spare. This is why Valeo offers free access to its online training modules, which are available as live sessions, or on replay.

 

Today, over 450 webinars are available on the Tech@ssist training platform, and the numbers tell the story of just how helpful they really are: In 2020, close to 60,000 people viewed those online training modules worldwide.

Tech@ssist is free to access online as part of Valeo's international website, valeoservice.com. It is also available on 14 national sites, including Belgium, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Spain, ASEAN, Turkey and the United Kingdom. New versions for other markets are coming soon.
