Drivers have to take their eyes off the road for a few seconds every time they check the speedometer. If another vehicle or a pedestrian crosses the vehicle's path during those few seconds, drivers have less time to react, especially at high speed.

A few seconds of distraction is sometimes enough to inadvertently drift out of one's lane. The system also helps you to stay within the speed limit by informing you whenever you exceed the programmed speed. The product is easily fitted to most vehicles.

The Speed/Visio Nomad uses GPS information for the speed calculation, thus increasing accuracy. It can be moved from one vehicle to another.
